We are so grateful for our wonderful customers and honored to have been voted Best Apothecary 2016 for the annual Best of Virginia contest held by Virginia Living Magazine!

We were featured in nearby Culpeper’s Star Exponent, after I returned to Virginia at the beginning of Brian’s two year deployment to Japan. With his ship forward deployed, we decided that the best move would be to have our home established when he retired. It was during this interview that I met the lovely Allison

Along with other handcraft artisans of The Artisan Group, we gifted Renee Zellweger with our luxury moisturizing soap and matching candle, in our very popular Lemongrass scent. This was a swag bag press opportunity, and Renee was very sweet in thanking us all.

We participated with The Artisan Group to honor Earth Day in a gifting to celebrities known for their support of the environment. We created lovely candles of lemongrass, poured into huge empty quahog clam shells gathered from the beach in our neighborhood. The eco-friendly/organic/green collection was gifted to: Hayden Panettiere, Ginnifer Goodwin, Edward Norton, Adrian

We created a custom candle fragrance in a warming winter blend of woods, spices, and citrus, then poured them into recycled Italian glass jars, and sent them to Los Angeles for gifting Golden Globes press in coordination with The Artisan Group.

Lux Aromatica soy candles were featured in Rhode Island Monthly’s November issue, as well as the RI Monthly Holiday 2012 Gift Guide. Thanks, RI Monthly!
