Insect Repellent

Here in Virginia, we have all kinds of bugs that consider us a meal buffet. The most the ravenous may be the Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus, which arrived in 1991. It’s become so prevalent that our native mosquitoes are almost gone. You’ll be familiar with the dance of slapping your hands around in the air. We feel you. These products help keep you sane in summer.

(Gardening tip: well-placed sticks of incense from the wood-spicy group can help create bubbles of bug-free space. Avoid floral or berry-fruit though, which attracts them!!!)
