The last 12 months have brought exhilarating changes for our family. Brian’s new assignment meant packing up and moving to a cold, foreign land last January: New England!
When we landed in Rhode Island, I knew I faced a lot of work in shifting the business from 600 miles away. Happily, Lux Aromatica is flourishing. There is strong support in New England for hand-made goods in general, and natural-ingredient items in particular. We’ve had a full calendar of craft fairs and my candles can be found for sale in several area stores.
I am thankful for the success I’ve found here, but I feel particular gratitude for you, my first customers in Virginia. Simply put, Thanks! I haven’t forgotten you and will come back to you! We will relocate permanently to Virginia in a few short years, and will be there for you at craft fairs and expanded local shopping.
