When it came time to renew our lease, the landlord wanted 20% of our revenue as base rent, plus another 20% in additional fees such as parking, janitorial services, etc. With that decision, a billionaire caused a lovely local retail location to close. Our soaps, candles, and skin-care are available in the Town of Orange at Lacy’s Florist, a family owned and operated business. Lacy’s is committed to offering the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by prompt, friendly service. You’ll find our products on the large white shelving to the right as you enter. We opened our new little apothecary in Charlottesville in Spring 2016. With C’ville Soapbox humming along and our wholesale business growing, we’re transitioning to a new shopping location for our Orange customers. The need for more dedicated studio time to get stuff made has prompted the decision to close the shop portion of our studio to the public.
This will make our products more accessible to you through-out the week to better serve you when you need your aromatherapy fix in Orange. Our full retail lines are now available at Lacy’s Florist on Main Street.
